ADHD Medication Treatment: How Do You Decide?

The first step is making sure you have the right diagnosis. Secondly, you want to be sure that the ADHD is actually causing some kind of impairment or difficulty in your life - i.e. that you can actually benefit from the medication.
The last point is to balance the risks and benefits of ADHD medication. This is a critical point, and I review this in the video:
